What is the Castle?
The castle is a lategame area with boss rush and new enemies with unique mechanics. You can challenge the Castle once per run by finding all four pieces of the map before the 15th day.
Once you have entered the castle, you cannot leave until you have completed the challenge or been defeated.
The character will receive a Restrained debuff for the entire challenge.
The hero will be able to heal itself through green or orange potions, available in the city shop before entering the Castle.
Addictions and Corruption gained during Castle are permanent.
Your personal best attempt will be saved across multiple runs
How do I complete the map?
There are four pieces of the map scattered around the world of Hero Corruption: You can find the first piece by defeating the Forest or Grove boss, it's your choice. The same can be said for Deep Forest and the Lakeside, which also share the same piece.
The remaining pieces can be found by defeating the Swamp and Dark Woods bosses.
You can also track your progress towards completing the map by going to your Equipment > Consumables & Key Items > Torn Map.
By clicking on the item, you can get an idea of how many pieces are left to complete it through the messages received:
A lost piece of an old map; Its content is illegible: 3 pieces left
The pieces of the map seem to come together; Maybe you should keep looking for the other pieces: 2 pieces left
A piece of the map still seems to be missing; Following an incomplete map can be risky: 1 piece left
I can't find the Dark Woods boss
First you need to trigger the ghost event: While exploring the Dark Woods, you should find a black-and-white picture of a girl with a blurred face. The ghost should disappear in just one hit, regardless of your attack.
After that, look for and defeat the girl whose ghost appeared, you need to defeat the actual enemy, not just the ghost itself.
The girl should drop an item called "Old Talisman", you can investigate the item by going to your Equipment > Consumables & Key Items > Old Talisman.
With the talisman in your backpack, keep exploring the Dark Woods until you find the cabin, approach the cabin and enter through door to find the area boss.
How do I defeat Kitty?
Kitty Lust increases according to the Hero's attack, her Lust dictates the stage of the battle and consequently what type of damage the player will receive.
By choosing to wait during battle, her Lust will decrease by 10, you can switch between attacking and waiting to control the flow of battle and keep her in a stage that is less harmful to your Hero.
Keep in mind that if Kitty's Lust reaches 100 the Hero will receive a "Broken" debuff and trigger a bad ending.
