The new version of HC2 is out !
Changes:
HALLUCINATIONS
Hallucinations have been added to general gameplay and will gradually appear as the hero’s corruption increases
The type of hallucinations that appear depends on the hero's addictions
Hallucinations can be disabled in the options menu
NEW AREA
Added the Park area, an alternative to the Deep Forest and Meadow
While most girls originate from the Deep Forest, the Park already features two new enemies
NEW ENEMIES
Belle
Belle is just trying to learn, will you be her study partner?
Nadia
If you can’t overpower Nadia, she’ll make sure you stay right where she wants you
OTHERS
You can now reroll arena modifiers with temporary Fame
Added Belle Bad Ending
Updated the Notice board
Added a new achievement
BALANCE STUFF
Decreased Asylum event chance 100% > 90%
Reduced the amount of circles from Tinky's Dodging QTE 3 > 1
BUG FIXES
Fixed enemy resistance showing float numbers (again)
Fixed returning to the base when escaping inside a dungeon
Fixed player being allowed back into the asylum
Fixed facility being removed from the event pool when the player enters the asylum
Fixed the game not being saved while exploring the asylum

Getting an out of index error after defeat which seems to reset some "number of enemies defeated" total in the next run. Any solution to this? Thanks, and fantastic game otherwise.
Love the updates, looking forward to see how much further the game will evolve. I was wondering if you plan to include a setting to turn "Curses" off (even for hard mode) just if one likes to have a long laid back run.

I love the idea and theme of the asylum. I like the two dungeons in this game, and it's cool that you can fight enemies in this dungeon. I remember the church and house dungeons in Hero Corruption 1, those were cool, and these feel like good evolutions of those.
Just one question: what is the lore of the Asylum? And what exactly does the bad ending mean? I understand that mystery is part of the charm, and I can more or less guess, but I'd like to know because for me, getting fully immersed in the story and role-playing makes the game even more sexy! I even use background music that fits the theme for different parts…
During fights with high corruption, on every turn a dialogue box fades in/out at the top of the screen with variables that I assume are used to determine if a hallucination appears. Is this leftover from development?
