Hi everyone! Hope you're all having a great week.
I've been receiving feedback from you guys about the tower being too easy, and I'm happy to say that some changes are finally about to be implemented. I was initially thinking about adding these new features in the next version in a more robust and complete way, but with the arrival of Elisa and Ines (the two new girls from this version), v1.65 will need a new area, which I suspect that will give me a bit of work, so I decided to bring forward part of the tower update that would be released in version 1.65.
Starting with the next update, heroes who venture into the Tower will have to deal with Curses, small stackable effects that are obtained over time, making enemies stronger and weakening the hero over time. After X floors, the player will have the option to choose one of three curses presented to them, adding this effect permanently into the player's run. Depending on how this new mechanic is received, these effects may also be added in hardmode during normal gameplay (after x days gain a curse). New curses may also be added over time.
I believe it will be possible to update the Live version this week with the new mechanic, although the UI will probably be reused from somewhere else.
In addition to the Curses, Elisa was added as an alternative boss to the Beach, possibly replacing Erica & Margot; and Ines (I'm not sure about this name) is the last missing piece for the Mountains, so all areas are now fully complete.As I said before, v1.65 will add a new area, possibly 1 star, and this might require some tweaking on the map selection screen.
Version 1.60 should be available Tuesday, June 3rd
Keep an eye on the Live version this week for a final update before the stable release
