Hi guys,

For this update, I’ve prepared a new starting area to bring more variety to the early days of gameplay: the Trails. This new area already features two new enemies, Piper and Amber. Aside from that, it will spawn the same enemies found in the Outskirts area.

I’m thinking of keeping only three starting areas available at the beginning of each game and rotating them from a pool of potential starting zones. That way, we can maintain the game's overall balance while adding fresh variety to different runs.

I’m also adding and adjusting a few things in the new Gym event. As a reminder, starting next version, the Gym will only be available after going through the Workout Companion event.However, since the event pool keeps growing and it can become difficult to consistently trigger the 'Workout' event, I'm considering making it a permanent unlock once you've completed it in any run.

I was just about to write another paragraph addressing the lack of new mods when I noticed we just got another mod submission! I’ve already reviewed it, and it’s now available for download on the website alongside the others, thanks for the submission!

Hero Corruption version 2.45 should be available for download on Tuesday, November 3rd.
